Currently looking for a new creative team for the 2012 Spring Fashion Show! - Apply now!

We are always looking for new creative staff to join our merry team. We organise 2 fashion shows per year so far, one in Manchester and one in Leeds.
If you want to be a part of these, or have ideas to take the shows further afield (we're open to ideas) then check out the kind of positions we have below and let's have a talk!:

These shows are a great opportunity to work on a live event and gain some experience for your skills. You will also have the chance to network with some influencial people in the fashion industry and create future ties.

As they are all charitable events at the moment, the work is unpaid. However it could become invaluable to your portfolio. We can provide high quality photographs and a video to anyone who has work to present at one of our shows and a reference for those behind the scenes.

We usually looking for (please apply online unless stated otherwise):

Fashion Designers:

• Designers would ideally have up to 15 garments from their collection to show.
• You can use an existing collection, or like many designers in previous years make one bespoke for the show.
• Please email us with photos and info about yourself, and show us why you are unique.

Please not there is a £25 charge for designers who are successful, which goes towards promotion costs. Contact us here

Models:

For our shows we use male and female models

Females need to be size 10 or under and 5ft 7 and above.

Experience is preffered but not necessary.

Promotors:

Do you know people in and around the London, Manchester or Leeds area or the fashion industry? Then apply here.

• We need people to contact the press, national and trade specific.
• Give out leaflets, and put posters up,
• Approach potential designers/businesses.
• Ideally we'd like to get a team together.
• Think of new promotional ideas and ventures.
• Please email with details of experience, skills and availability.

Photographers/ Filmakers:

> Looking for experienced event photographers and film makers

This is especially for our new event, the 1 day Fashion Film Festival where will be showcasing a variety of new and upcoming films from designers and videographers.

Please email us with some examples of previous work in either video or photography of events.

Graphics Designers:

We do like to refresh our corporate ID for our fashion shows every year, so if you would like to design a lovely new one, then please send samples of your work to us. We need logos, flyers, posters, colour scheme and typography!

We currently need: a new corporate ID for the End of Summer Fashion Show and the Fashion Film Festival.

This is a good one for students, to have a real brief in their portfolio!

Personal Assistants:

We would also like some assistants who would be in charge of people in the other roles and given tasks in the weeks before the show.

We need people to:

• Design the venue for the show
• Dress models on the night
• A stage co-ordinator to make for a smoothly run show
• You will need to be reliable and dedicated, but you would gain a lot of experience on what it's like to actually run a successful event in a city centre.

Businesses:

At our shows, we offer the opportunity to businesses to hold a stall in the fashion market.

This will be a great event to sell your products directly to your target audience and make a profit as well as helping for charity.

If you're just starting out this could be a great way to gain some promotion for your new brand. If you would like to be involed please contact us with your company info.
